The final piece of the offseason puzzle will soon drop when the NFL announces its 2024 NFL schedule. Speculation is mounting that the league could release the schedule within the next two weeks.
So, with the schedule set to be announced soon, here is what we know:
The Vikings will have nine home games and eight road games in 2024. The opponents for the upcoming season have been set for a while. Along with home and road games against their division foes, the Vikings will take on teams from the NFC West and AFC South this season as well as last season's third-place teams from the NFC East, NFC South and AFC North.
Here is the list of Minnesota's 2024 opponents:

Finishing last season 7-10 and in a mess at quarterback certainly doesn't lead many to think of the Vikings as must-see television. An offseason later and the Vikings have a rookie QB, a rejuvenated defense and still have the league's best receiver.
On top of the roster looking intriguing, there are incredibly compelling matchups ahead this season. Kirk Cousins' eventual return with the Falcons screams for a national audience, as does the potential for former Packers QB Aaron Rodgers' U.S. Bank Stadium return with the Jets. Former Vikings Stefon Diggs and Danielle Hunter are now teammates in Houston who also have a date in Minneapolis.
The league announced earlier this offseason the Vikings would be hosting a game in London this season. It will be Minnesota's second trip to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in three seasons, having previously beat the Saints in 2022. The Vikings haven't been the "home team" since their 2013 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
An opponent for the game hasn't been announced yet, though it was reported by SKOR North's Declan Goff that Minnesota's opponent would be an AFC South team. Goff further clarified it would not be the Colts, leaving just the Texans as the only AFC South home game the Vikings could host in London.
Normally finishing third place hands you an "easier" schedule, though that hasn't necessarily turned out for the Vikings this season.
The Vikings' lineup of opponents finished last season with a .502 winning percentage, the 16th-toughest in the league. Though based on projected win total by Vegas oddsmakers, Sharp Football Analysis has the Vikings with the fifth-toughest schedule.
Minnesota plays 10 games this season against teams that finished 2023 with a .500 or better record. Seven of those games are against teams that made the playoffs last season.
